Dekker Zevenhuizen makes customised splashbacks

In the kitchen of 2025, the back wall plays an important role: the wall adds atmosphere and gives the kitchen a spatial effect. Dekker Zevenhuizen can make such a wall (or skirting board) from almost any kitchen worktop material. You can have the colour of your kitchen worktop continue in the wall, but you can also choose a different colour or material for an exciting contrast, such as a glass back wall for a stone kitchen worktop or a wood laminate for a matt FENIX kitchen worktop.

The back wall or splashback is made exactly to order, and can be as big or as small as you want. The most commonly chosen height for a backsplash is 10 cm, but we also increasingly see backsplashes of 25 cm in kitchens: handy against splashes from the tap and hob.

Hygienic and low-maintenance

A custom-made back wall has no joints, which is hygienic, and easy to clean. Behind the hob Dekker Zevenhuizen also has ready-made rear walls in three materials: stainless steel (10 mm thick), glass (6 mm thick) and AluSplash (4 mm thick). You can choose between 60 and 90 cm wide.
