Sculptural beauty and raw luxury: the kitchen trends of 2025

The kitchen is no longer just a place to cook. It is the heart of the home, a space where we gather, create and enjoy. And the kitchen trends for 2025 reflect this shift. Trend forecaster Monique van der Reijden has identified two standout styles: Sculpture Club and Raw Luxury. Let's take a closer look at these trends.

Trend 1: Sculpture Club

Functional, harmonious, holistic, artistic

In the Sculpture Club trend, the kitchen feels holistic and artistic without losing sight of optimal functionality. The open kitchen is increasingly spreading throughout the entire interior and the mix of materials is becoming more diverse but coordinated in a light natural base. This results in a soft, luxurious, sensual energy and atmosphere.

Natural materials and tranquility
A good example of natural materials can be seen in the kitchen worktop TopLaminate with the new color Stonehenge. This color has different shades of natural colors such as beige, gray, sand and soft yellow. The Lanesto faucet and sink in the color Gold combine nicely with the natural colors and keep the whole thing from becoming boring. Behind the faucet is the AluSplash Essenza Milky Way and through its texture brings a vibrant look to the back wall.

Lightness and a holistic approach
The kitchen design flows into the interior and has the same look and feel. Thereby, the kitchen has different functionalities in that in addition to cooking, it can also be used for eating, having a drink and perhaps working. The kitchen worktop is thin and seems to float so that a kitchen literally looks lighter. The circle is complete when the materials are also durable. As in this photo with the kitchen worktop made of recycled glass: Obsidiana Vulcano Warm. The linked dining table is from the sustainable Greengridz finished in TopLaminate Cosy Oak.

Color palette and materials
In this Sculpture Club mood board, we see many natural materials fitting into this trend, such as travertine, marble, sandstone and wood. They are light colors and natural tones, soft whites, matcha green, peach fuzz and buttercream. Because at home we want to relax and minimize stimuli. These light shades are calming and have soft transitions. Because there are differences in texture and patterns, it does not become boring.  Still want to add a little more color in the kitchen? Then Peach or Matcha Green is a nice natural color that brings just a bit of refreshment. In the Sculpture Club mood board we inspire you how to combine the different colors and materials.

Trend 2: Raw Luxury

The new industrial and raw style

In the Raw Luxury kitchen, the basics are coarse, natural and architectural. A new kind of industrial, high-end feel emerges in which reuse and sustainable materials with a focus on wood, concrete, stone and metal that steal the show. Custom interior items, artisan accessories and high-tech equipment add depth to the raw atmosphere.

High-tech and natural in the mix
A good example of high-tech and natural materials can be seen in the photo with the kitchen worktop Evora Ceramics Abraxas topped with the new aesthetically designed induction zones by the brand PITT cooking. The round shape and sturdy iron ring of each individual induction plate and the beautiful knob with LED lighting that allows you to set the temperature. The kitchen worktop has many shades of color, patterns and has a beautiful natural texture that can be felt and is combined here with a back wall that has the looks of weathered metal.

Dark shades of brown and gray
Concrete, stone and metal steal the show in this trend with mostly dark colors. Feel free to combine coarse materials patterns, marble and weathered materials. In this kitchen, the colors brown, gray and metal dominate. A large glass vase made of dark glass brings just a bit of contrast to the overall kitchen look.

Color palette and materials
In this Raw Luxury moodboard we see dark materials, innovative is the color brown combined with gray concrete. If you want to add color, consider the earthy shade of terra. And feel free to vary with all shades of brown from caramel to chocolate. In addition to raw, natural materials, combine luxury accessories such as the Selsiuz boiling water tap model Hexagon in the bold color Sturdy Black. In the Raw Luxury moodboard we inspire you how to combine the different colors and materials.
